Powdered urea formaldehyde adhesive is a thermosetting white polymer, which is used as liquid adhesive after mixing with water. The adhesive has high bonding strength toward most cellulosic materials and due to its low formaldehyde emission; it is compatible with E1 European standard. Powdered E1 urea formaldehyde adhesive is preferred to liquid adhesive where production runs are infrequent and longer storage life is needed.

Applications

  • Manufacturing of low formaldehyde emitting wood particle board, plywood, furniture and other wood products.
